Privacy & local records

Effective

ScreenCheckup does not capture your screen, photos, or device serial number. This version has no analytics, ads, accounts, payments, or file uploads. Your observations are not sent to a ScreenCheckup database.

Optional browser records

When you choose Save locally, your device name, selected observation, notes, and date are saved in this browser’s local storage (localStorage). One record is kept per test. The record remains after you close the page. It is not encrypted by this app, so other people using the same browser profile may be able to read it.

Choose Clear on a test to remove its record. You can also clear this website’s data in your browser to remove all records. If storage or deletion is blocked, the tool shows an error. The patterns work without saved notes.

Copying a record

Copy record sends your selected text to your device clipboard when you ask it to. Other apps, browser settings, or clipboard sync may affect how that text is stored.

Website delivery

Your browser shares network details, such as its IP address, with the service that delivers the site. The planned public host is Cloudflare, which may process requests to deliver and protect the site under its privacy policy. During local preview, files come from your computer. We do not use visitor analytics in this version.

Email and external references

If you email support, your address and message go to the support mailbox and email delivery services. Do not include sensitive information. Manufacturer links open separate sites with their own privacy practices.
