ScreenCheckup
HOW WE EXPLAIN THINGS

Editorial policy & corrections

ScreenCheckup publishes guides for people checking a display. We help you repeat what you see and choose a next step. A browser pattern is not a hardware diagnosis.

Who is responsible for the content?

Tool instructions and guides are published by ScreenCheckup. We do not claim review by a certified engineer, testing lab, or display maker.

How guides are prepared

We use AI to help with research and drafts. We check technical claims against the manufacturer sources linked on each guide. These sources explain general device behavior; they cannot show what is wrong with your individual screen.

We do not make up hands-on tests, defect photos, user counts, testimonials, or expert credentials. Diagrams are illustrations, not photos of a tested panel.

Dates and changes

Publication dates show when a guide first appeared. We change a revised date only after a real content change or a new source check. We do not change dates just to make a page look new. Check your maker’s current policy for model-specific care and warranty advice.

Corrections

If a source or instruction seems wrong, email us the page and the claim. Add a manufacturer link if you have one. Leave out serial numbers, account details, and private photos. We cannot promise a reply time.

Commercial relationships

This version has no advertising, affiliate links, sponsored placements, or paid product recommendations. If that changes, the relevant disclosure and privacy notice should change with it.
